Much like any criminal organization, the Obama administration will punish anyone who dares tell the outside world just what they’re up to. They’ll take your job, your reputation, and — in this sickening case — they’ll even try to take your daughter. A Department of Homeland Security <http://conservativetribune.com/obama-threatens-shut-down-dhs-1/> agent who blew the whistle on deliberately lax enforcement under a particular immigration program had just that happen to her. Now, she’s speaking out before Congress. Taylor Johnson, a senior special agent with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, told the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs that she faced massive retribution after revealing irregularities in the EB-5 visa program. The EB-5 visa <http://conservativetribune.com/reid-implicated-illegal-scheme/> grants green cards to foreigners who invest $500,000 in American companies. Johnson, an 11-year veteran of the ICE, told the committee that she found corruption and mismanagement that, in her words, posed “national security risks.” “Some of the violations investigated surrounding the project included bank and wire fraud, and I discovered ties to organized crime and high-ranking politicians and they received promotions that appeared to facilitate the program,” Johnson said. She had “discovered that EB-5 applicants <http://conservativetribune.com/ethics-complaint-filed-against-reid/> from China, Russia, Pakistan, Malaysia had been approved in as little as 16 days.” In addition, case files “lacked the basic and necessary law enforcement queries.” “I found over 800 operational EB-5 regional centers throughout the U.S.,” Johnson said, adding that this was odd because the United States should only allow 10,000 EB-5 visas per year. After she blew the whistle on the EB-5 program, the retaliation was swift and severe. Johnson was escorted from her desk and denied access to her case files.
