*URGENT: Obama Issues Insane “Order” to State and Local Police… We’re Under Attack*
Last month, President Barack Obama’s administration released a report demanding that state and local police officers stop enforcing immigration laws <http://conservativetribune.com/obama-issues-shocking-order/>. “The U.S. Department of Homeland Security should terminate the use of the state and local criminal justice system, including through detention, notification, and transfer requests, to enforce civil immigration laws against civil and non-serious criminal offenders,” the task force that issued the report stated. Obama reportedly wants to “rebuild trust between police and their communities” by weakening law enforcement’s power to actually do its job. Apparently, the president believes that detaining illegal immigrants who commit a “civil” or “non-serious” offense would hurt community relations. This means, for instance, that an illegal immigrant <http://conservativetribune.com/immigrant-shoots-us-citizen/> caught driving without a license or carrying falsified paperwork would be allowed to go on his merry way without facing deportation. Obama in essence called for making it legal for illegal immigrants to be here illegally, which of course makes no sense. Furthermore, this is not the first time that Obama has issued a nonsensical order pertaining to immigration. After the president announced his executive amnesty <http://conservativetribune.com/court-against-obamas-amnesty/> program in November of 2014, he ordered U.S. Immigration and Customers Enforcement to stop visiting “prisons and jails looking for illegal immigrants to be deported.” The report also demanded that state and local police hire more minorities, become more transparent and acknowledge “past abuses.” Furthermore, the police were to receive less military equipment <http://conservativetribune.com/new-weapon-isis-cowering/> and weapons. None of this made any sense to Lance LoRusso, a former police officer and Atlanta lawyer who referred to the report as a “political statement, not a law enforcement statement.” (H/T Truth And Action <http://www.truthandaction.org/obama-state-local-police-stop-immigration-enforcement/> ) LoRusso was right. The report and the demands contained within it were nothing more than attempt to bow to the demands of criminals, both legal and illegal, who — just like Obama — clearly believe they are above the law.
