Do folks recall how the press really wanted Teddy Kennedy to take on President Jimmy Carter way back when...they begged, they offered so much encouragement, I think may some of those folks got chapped lips from kissing Kennedy's a.. and as soon as he announced they went after his a.. with stories of his drinking, his driving history, his carrying on with lots of ladies.......they crucified the man after setting him up for the run against the incumbent President. This love affair with Biden reminded me of that Kennedy/Carter time in our history. Hope it's not that .......BTW, sorry to see Webb leave the fray.....he was the only Dumbocrat I would consider voting for. The Democrats were not interested in hearing a moderate in their party go after the nomination.....he just didn't appeal to all those "wing nuts" in the Dumbocrat party.
