Hey Pluto, Yes, I agree with you; but where I differ, is that I think most American families do teach these principles....More so in past decades than today, what with the breakup of the "traditional family"; but this Nation was founded on Christian principles and tenets; the very crux of: *"teach[ing] their children is how to interact decently with their fellow humans, and more importantly with animals, and be taught that a gun is no resolution to whatever may ail them; we all have fit of rages at times..."*
