Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, said that as President he would call for a *“total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”* As Douglas Ernst writing for WND.com reported, Trump also said: *“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.” (See: ‘Kill Trump’: Enraged Left Calls For Assassination; 12/8/2015)* Ernst reported Priebus wasn’t the lone Republican decrying Trump. Speaker of the House, Republican Paul Ryan opined: *“This is not conservatism. What was proposed [by Trump] is not what this party stands for. And more importantly, it’s not what this country stands for.”* I would like to ask Ryan and Priebus: *“If protecting the American people against those sworn to kill us isn’t conservatism, what is?”* That said, what Trump dares to say isn’t their mealy-mouth, milquetoast, politically correct version of conservatism, but to those of us who have loved ones and friends actually murdered and terrorized by Muslims, and families we care about – we call what Trump said “patriotic” and “brave.” [image: Description: priebus]Therein lies the problem with the Republican establishment. They are no longer interested in doing what is right; they are now interested in being politically correct and having the mainstream media say nice things about them. We the People however have had enough of that craven mindset. Since when was it wrong to take bold steps to protect the people of America? How many more Americans have got to be beheaded, blown up, and murdered by Muslims on our soil before they conclude that Muslims are the problem? We sent tens of thousands of young men and women to die in the Middle East, supposedly to protect those of us back here from Muslims. Tens of thousands sacrificed their lives, bodies, emotional and psychological well-being for that cause – then they return to the U.S. to face a Muslim threat that they are not even allowed to protect themselves against. They are left vulnerable, not allowed to carry their side-arms on military bases, rendering them sitting targets for the likes of Nidal Hasan. They must relive their most dangerous moments in the Middle East battlefields at benign places like the Boston Marathon and San Bernardino Inland Regional Center, which serves individuals with developmental disabilities. Maybe Priebus and Ryan should ask them what true conservatism is. I repeat the question: *“How many more Americans have to be murdered by Muslims before appeasers like Priebus and Ryan realize bold actions are needed to protect Americans?”* *One thing is certain, and that is Muslims are not going to stop committing acts of terrorism on American soil until they have overrun us or we destroy them.* Why should we take the word of the Council on American Islamic Relations (C.A.I.R.) that Muslims are a peace loving pastoral people? If that is the case why is it that every place on the planet they infest there is terrorism? We should be following France’s example and begin raiding mosques, let C.A.I.R. and the ACLU scream foul until their throats become ulcerated to the point of them being unable to speak. Muslims cried it was *“racism and Islamophobia”* even as *France 24* reported that police uncovered a stash of 7.62mm Kalashnikov ammunition and ISIS propaganda videos. A revolver and Jihadist documents were found at the home of a mosque leader. At least 334 weapons were confiscated and 232 Muslims were arrested. France’s Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said: *“In 15 days we have seized one-third of the quantity of war-grade weapons that are normally seized in a year.” (Three Mosques Shut Down In Anti-Terror Raids as Officers Seize 330 War Weapons; Felipe Araujo; Express; 12/3/2015)* Only a fool believes that mosques in America are not reservoirs of the same. A singular truth that must be understood is: *“Because Islam is enshrouded by the term religion, we have been fooled into thinking that it must be tolerated and even respected. We must buck the notion that all religions are created equal. All religions are ideologies, and therefore, can never be equal. Because Islam is more violent and produces more terrorists than any other religions combined, tolerance of it [will] mean our own non-existence.” (Dom the Conservative; France Raids Mosques, What Was Found Should Have Us Demolishing Them All; Mad World News; 12/7/2015)* It’s not just angry uneducated Muslim men in dirty robes who are murdering people on the streets of our cities. It is well-educated Muslim young men; it is well-educated Muslim women with babies. They cannot be reasoned with nor can they be threatened off. And until, as Trump rightly said, we are able to understand the problem, we need to shut the door to more of them coming here.
