*Obama's veiled threat*

By Carol Brown <http://www.americanthinker.com/author/carol_brown/>

With a year left to go, President Obama is determined to make sure he
continues to squeeze the living daylights out of America. Or as he put it
during his year-end news conference: “I said at the beginning of this year
that interesting stuff happens in the fourth quarter — and we are only
halfway through.” What “interesting stuff” he has in mind is anybody’s
guess.

In a recent AP report
<http://news.yahoo.com/final-obama-seeks-stave-off-lame-duck-status-141607240.html>
that provides an overview of Obama’s term and plans for his final year in
office, Jen Psaki said: “We recognize there’s limited time left.” No
kidding (though of course she was referring to Obama’s term, not America’s
future).

Here’s another interesting excerpt:

He struggled to capitalize on his decisive re-election victory in 2012,
stumbling through a two-year stretch that exposed the limits of his power
and made him a political liability for his party. Then in an unexpected
twist, his party's devastating defeats in the 2014 midterm election spurred
one of the most productive years of his presidency….

What’s one man’s productivity is another man’s tyrannical executive order,
after executive order, after executive order. Obama figured out how to
overcome the “limits of power” right quick.

The AP piece continues to roll along as only the mainstream media can:

Yet Obama hasn't been able to escape the Middle East. No matter how many
times he tries to pivot to Asia or rebrand U.S. foreign policy as more
about diplomacy than military might, the volatile region continues to be
the dominant force in the way his foreign policy is viewed.

“Escape the Middle East?” He owns the Middle East. The expanding Caliphate
and the rise of Islamic terror is Obama’s foreign policy “brand.”

And of course, the GOP has been all too eager to help assist in any way
possible. Apparently most of these useless public servants can’t get enough
of being patsies.

At least some Republicans say they're willing to work with the president in
his final year.

“I think if you look at what we've been able to work with him on this year,
it's a good, telling piece of the kinds of things we can do next year,”
said Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo. (snip)

Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., echoed that sentiment, saying “There are a lot
of opportunities” to work with the president in his final year in office.

“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” We never even
mustered a knife.
