Notable & Quotable WSJ 1/11/2016 * From Navy Secretary's memorandum Jan 1.on the Marine Corps” on “gender integration”:*
"Lastly, as we achieve full integration of the force, mirroring even more closely the Nation we defend, this is an opportunity to update the position titles and descriptions to demonstrate through this language that women are included in these MOS's [Military Occupational Specialties]. Please review the position titles throughout the Marine Corps and ensure that they are gender-integrated as well, removing “man” from their titles and provide a report to me as soon as practicable and no later than April 1, 2016, so that it is included in the rest of the integration efforts." *We can assume that a White House dictum from this or a future Democrat may proclaim the following guidelines aside from the above-mentioned military occupations. * * 'Man' may not be used in military writings or conversation such as:* *Man all weapons.* *Where is the signalman?* *Man the lifeboats.* *We are going on manoeuvres. And also...* *Let's talk man to man.* *Man . she's got great legs.* Robert H.
