One school district here in NJ is panning on allowing children to decide their gender and then use whatever restroom/lockerroom fits their identity ... although i do remember when McSorley's was forced to be co-ed and they decided to make the women use the same restroom as the men ... it's was exclusively male for about a century and there was no "women's room" ... I do find it wrong to allow children who are going through all types of hormonal changes to declare a gender and then get to use a different restroom than their biology ... there needs to be some time-frame where they need to be certain ... what if you decide to be a gir and see naked girs and then next semester decide you are a boy ... very slippery slope!!!
