As described by the UK paper *Metro <http://metro.co.uk/2010/10/07/wheelchair-man-falls-down-elevator-shaft-after-rage-at-missing-lift-538450/>*, the scene was a shopping center in Daejon, South Korea. Mr. Lee, a man in a motorized scooter let his anger get the better of him when he missed an elevator by a split-second because a woman inside had pressed the "close" button. Lee slammed the scooter into the elevator doors, but the elevator had left. Enraged, he then reversed his vehicle slightly and drove into the doors again, making a dent. Then he reversed back for one more attempt. This time the doors gave way and he plunged 19 ft. to his death. Here's the video from the shopping center's security camera: Police said the accident was caused by Lee’s anger at the woman not holding the door for him.
