Many citizens expressed their frusration about the quality of the candidates presented by the parties this year. Even in years past, some observers have referred to having to choose between the lesser of two evils. Addditionally, many of us expressed our frustration about the nature and tone (e.g. nastiness) of the campaign this year, along with the amount of inaccurate information, not to mention misinformation. Any suggestions as to how we might improve on any of this? Obviously relying on the traditional news media did not work, and the campaigns appear incapable of self-policing, but instead are interested at winning at any cost. What can be do to improve the situation? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Thanks for being part of "PoliticalForum" at Google Groups.
