His alleged plan was to travel to Syria and fight on behalf of ISIS. He allegedly told his wife that he was against America and willing to blow himself up. The U.S. government has charged at least 87 people on U.S. soil with trying to support the ISIS terrorism group. They were tracked down for their alleged willingness to join forces with ISIS either by carrying out attacks in the United States or by traveling overseas and taking up arms on the battlefield. Among the most recent cases is Omar Al Hardan who allegedly told his wife he was going to blow himself up. The FBI contends it has a recording of the couple's conversation. But critics contend that the cases offer a cause for pause. They say that some of those arrested may have actually not been up to any wrongdoing, but were pulled down a path of criminality by FBI agents and their informants. They say that while suspected crimes should be investigated, it is dangerous for probes to be launched based on ideology, religion or other factors. The cases expose a new and controversial front in the fight against terrorism as well as the efforts of terrorists to reach potential supporters worldwide: social media. ISIS is known to have a sophisticated presence on the Web, where its reach can extend – and its propaganda can be delivered - into the computers and smart phones of persons worldwide. *Take a closer look at 15 U.S. terrorism cases in the gallery above. * __._,_.___ ------------------------------ Posted by: "Beowulf" <[email protected]> ------------------------------ Visit Your Group <https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/grendelreport/info;_ylc=X3oDMTJmZm1jMG02BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE0BGdycElkAzIwMTk0ODA2BGdycHNwSWQDMTcwNTMyMzY2NwRzZWMDdnRsBHNsawN2Z2hwBHN0aW1lAzE0NTYyNjY1NzA-> [image: Yahoo!
