I suppose it all depends on where you live ... in the New York Metro area there have been many Muslims for my entire life ... maybe the fact that the decade plus of wars has made them more noticeable!!! I remember here in NJ that assholes were attacking Sikhs because they thought they were Muslims ... most hatred is fueled by ignorance!!!
