Our basic rights are under attack. That’s why YAL is fighting back. *YAL activists are rallying to achieve two monumental goals this April:* 1. Reform unconstitutional speech codes and terminate "Free Speech zones" once and for all 2. Shift the campus culture to respect and protect the right to Free Speech Working with YAL's Leadership Team, we’ll help you challenge your school’s speech codes, educate your peers, and restore Free Speech on campus. Several YAL activists have already won this battle! Now, we are scaling up nationwide. *A major component of our activism centers around the campus debut of a new documentary called "Can We Take a Joke?"* YAL has obtained the exclusive rights to host screenings of this brand new film before it hits theaters. The film includes famous comedians, like Penn Jillette, Gilbert Gottfried, Lisa Lampanelli, Adam Carolla, and many others. *We are asking more than 200 YAL chapters to host a movie screening of this film on Freedom Day, April 13, 2016.* Believe me, this movie will certainly grab people's attention!
