There are more workers than jobs to fill.this is made worse by shitty free trade agreements which has gutted our industrial capacity and the millions of illegal aliens who are taking the jobs left while driving down wages. What's even more insulting is the cynical way the government calculates the rate of unemployment. Back when I was younger and the laws of supply and demand still followed logic and there was still competition in the marketplace. An unemployment rate under 7% was inflationary due to having to pay higher wages to get qualified help. If you want to get a clearer picture look up new jobless benifit claims which are released by the labor department weekly and new job creations which are released monthly multiply those numbers out to one year.
