When Mark was asked what he would do he quickly replied a nightly curfew to start for the hardest hit areas, support for the local police by the local politicians, and a another great idea that I've not heard before. Do police searches for guns in the homes and businesses for those people on probation and living in the affected areas. He pointed out that once on probation the probation officer has the authority with out getting a court order to search the homes of these criminals who were found guilty of a crime and can not legally carry or own a weapon and the officer can do this with out the permission of the courts. Guns found in their home back to the slammer immediately! I'm thinking why not call in the Nat'l. Guard to patrol those areas and enforce the curfew thus freeing up the cops to do all those searches of probationers. Move in and do it fast and furious.....at least the good citizens of Chicago could be hopeful then they are now with the do nothing of consequence Mayor Rahm Emanuel, the darling of the left wingers. I'm sure others out there could also come up with some great suggestions........but leave the guns in the hands of the law biding citizens.......they need them in Chicago.
