Amazing! What a momentous occasion! Plain Ol' has posted what he (I assume) is "inferring" of folks who worked and assisted in the construction of the White House! Being that construction on the White House started in 1792; these are very remarkable photographs!
It's also amazing that the "Freed Blacks" who helped construct the White House are not distinguished in Plain Ol's photo, as there were many more Freed Blacks working construction as there were slaves.....(I know....Details! Details!)
