*Wal-Mart Shooting Suspects Unexpectedly Encounter Bystanders Legally Carrying Guns*

According to police, two bystanders who were legally carrying handguns of their own intervened, putting a stop to what could have ended in lives lost. Police told WCSH that the suspects were sitting in vehicles parked next to each other when an argument escalated into a gunfight. Two of the suspects sitting in one car opened fire on the occupants of the other car, who fired back. At one point, the shooting came to a pause. Police said a suspect then exited one of the vehicles to confront the occupants of the other vehicle. That’s when the two witness, who were legally carrying, put an end to the altercation.
