We have a long row to hoe, as the saying goes. Much of the current situation (not all) lies in Bush's lap. I don't think electing another Republican, with the same game plan, was going to improve the current situation. Somtimes, a change in direction is what is called for. As for Obama representing a tombstone for this country, I disagree. I support every president elect in this country until given reason to do otherwise. It's hard to criticize Obama's presidency when he hasn't even sat in the chair. We have big problems in this country, my friend.....and it is going to take cooperation (something that has been lacking for some time) of a bipartisan sort to dig us out of this mess. Will Obama be the panacea? That has yet to be seen....but we have to start somewhere.
