I am ok with the U.S. Government doing what it is supposed to do. One of those things is prosecute our Wars.
As for the amount we send to build their infrastructure, I believe it is high time they took over the financial part of all of that, although they have begun taking over some. It hasn't happened as quickly as I would like, no. Prosecuting our Wars is something the Constitution puts on the Fed. Redistributing Wealth is not.
