The documents released reportedly include more than 11,000 names as well as some corresponding identifying information and a file on Norman Hsu, a Democratic donor convicted of financial fraud. They also include a research file on 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. The hacker reportedly took to a chatroom to explain his rationale for the timing of the release of the hacked documents. KING: Hacked DNC docs may show ugly connections to Clinton <http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/king-hacked-dnc-docs-show-ugly-connections-clinton-article-1.2676755> "The press gradually forget about me, wikileaks is playing for time and i have some more docs," he said in a correspondence obtained by The Hill. Last week Guccifer 2.0 claimed credit for breaching the DNC's computers and releasing a trove of documents, including opposition research files about GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump. Those documents, titled "Donald Trump Report" and dated Dec. 19, 2015, outline methods of attacking Trump's stances on any possible campaign issue and provide quotes from potentially damaging media stories. Every page is stamped "CONFIDENTIAL." Representatives for the DNC didn't immediately return a request for comment Wednesday. The identity of Guccifer 2.0 is unclear, but a cybersecurity firm hired by the DNC after the breach became known has attributed the hacking to "sophisticated adversaries" with ties to Russian intelligence agencies. ------------------------------ [image: Avast logo] <https://www.avast.com/antivirus> This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/antivirus> __._,_.___ ------------------------------ Posted by: "Beowulf" <[email protected]> ------------------------------ Visit Your Group <https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/grendelreport/info;_ylc=X3oDMTJmY21oOGQ3BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE0BGdycElkAzIwMTk0ODA2BGdycHNwSWQDMTcwNTMyMzY2NwRzZWMDdnRsBHNsawN2Z2hwBHN0aW1lAzE0Njg1MDY2NzY-> [image: Yahoo!
