I remember this subject coming up before here in the Group, and like Geoffrey, I too was kind of shocked to learn that New Jersey still required full service.....Was there ever a period of time when New Jersey allowed for "Pay At The Pump/Self Serve"? It's been a long while since I actually drove through New Jersey; but I seem to recall maybe about 15 or so years ago going through there and buying gas....Pumping it myself; and moving down south. I recall gas was far more expensive, but I don't recall full serve gas.
