Yep, I was in Europe for a couple of weeks this summer and watched mostly BBC and Bloomberg for news. Most of the others were in German, though, which I don't speak. ;)
I found it interesting to see the assortment of news channels like Al Jazeera and Russia Times along with some from Japan, China, and several other places. Heck we probably have access to them here but I've never watched most of them. We used to have one of those massive (commercial sized) satellite dishes and it got stuff from everywhere. For years we'd have a big party on Race Day here - the Indy 500 is always blacked out locally, but we could get it from anywhere else in the country. I miss that thing. It also picked up the uncut version of the sportscasts and the announcers cussing and making fun of people, lol. It was much more fun than scripted tv sometimes.
