which makes me wonder why the popular vote was as close as it was. voter enthusiasm for trump was a big factor. I'm not sure that I can use the term republican anymore. for the past 8 years they've pushed the idea of demographic changes. but will not acknowledge that it was white voters that made it possible for Obama to be elected. they brought up the first time Hispanic voters to explain but quite frankly the Hispanic folks I know are pretty conservative on social issues and if illegal pay taxes because they see it as a way of buying legality in installments. but what I see going to work in the mornings is that where you see kids gathered to catch the bus for school a much greater proposing of them are Hispanic. so this will factor in to the demographic change in 10 to 15 years in terms of voting.
