"Now that we know that pollsters overestimated support for Hillary Clinton, the obvious question is what to make of the same people's high estimates of President Obama's popularity. As he and she repeatedly told us, her defeat would be his defeat, his priorities were her priorities, and his vice president might be even as fine a secretary of state as she had been. Yet, although she lost, he's supposed to be popular. Perhaps, like her, he's liked in a few California counties, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, and the Northeast." -- Kevin Gutzman --
