That was a "Brand" of Libertarianism that most Libertarians didn't support
or even acknowledge really....

Back in the very early 1990s, (and yes, I was formulating a political run
for office in North Carolina); I had been very active in the Republican
Party; I had, "Paid My Dues"; and when I got ready to run for a fairly
significant (City of Charlotte) office; I was asked to manage the mayoral
campaign of a fairly significant politician....I ran into "Issues" with my
business, (and the federal government) and my political career was doused
in a matter of a couple of days, but a story for another night....(*See*
Pat McCrory).

To make a very long story short, I ended up leaving the Republican Party
for several years; and joined the Libertarian Party of North Carolina,
wherein I learned the real definition of, "Clusterfuck".....I did have the
opportunity during that shor duration of befriending Neil Boortz, which I
don't regret at all....
