I only went to Mexico once, about 3 decades ago across the border from Del Rio, TX. It's the one and only place outside of America that I had zero desire to ever return to - a serious shit hole. You can travel to other countries - especially in the Caribbean - where people have no more money and don't live in much nicer homes, but their cities and towns are still clean and friendly; not so in Mexico.
