And their article didn't go into the #1 reason - women refuse to negotiate salary in most cases, while men don't. Also, there are plenty of studies showing salaried men working more overtime than women; considering that and the fact that women take more time off work, who in their right mind would think they *should* make the exact same as men who work more hours?

In only one case did I not make the same or more than the men I was working with. The day I found out that was the case, I gave notice (as I had more education and more experience/expertise than every single man working at the same level of the ladder). Their loss.
