And then some member of the media apparently made fun of the guy Trump let up on stage. I'm not a fan of RedState, but this is an interesting article. The part about Reagan's 1984 campaign and the press is especially interesting, and shows that the media was almost as detached from the people then as they are now. The tweets they show are hilarious, but a pain in the ass to copy and paste into here.
