First and foremost and as I've said from the beginning, Trump should have 
released his returns.  It would not have dinged his base (after all, he 
could have put a bullet in someone's head on 5th Ave and not lost a vote).

Second, whilst it is only one year, it blew the narrative of Trump "not 
paying any taxes" out of the water.  Obliterated it.

Lastly, it was completely a plant from TrumpCo, beyond a doubt.  I won't 
say your guys "fell for it" but Maddow miscalculated its impact in her rush 
to continue her uptick in ratings.

So we continue down the well-worn libbie path:

Step 1-shocking headlines
Step 2-shocking headlines destroyed by the facts
Step 3-libbie whine "Yeah, but.....!"
