The eminent Professor Peter Dale Scott is the academic researcher who knows more about the historic background and dire consequences of the deep state than any other individual. With the current climate of widespread discussion concerning a possible deep state coup d’état against President Donald Trump, it is perhaps fitting that LRC readers reacquaint themselves with a classic Scott article, The Fates of American Presidents Who Challenged the Deep State (1963-1980).
