You just got to love the euphemism “stimulus package” that bourgeois governments are assigning to the reprehensible practice of rewarding the world’s financial parasites and criminals by stuffing their pockets full of public funds.
Rudd said of the Chinese bail out, "this is an extraordinary package of significance not just to this economy but also to the economy across wider East Asia and the world.” Well bravo China. We now have the US Federal Reserve and the treasury, point blank refusing to give details on which banks have received 2 trillion in taxpayer’s money and the assets that were put up as security. The criminal futility in throwing trillions of dollars at the world’s financial institutions in no way addresses the two major problems in the current crisis (the results of the contradictions of capitalism) overproduction on the one hand and the impoverishment of the working class on the other.
