Crackpot theories from a sitting U.S. Congressman on Barack Obama http://www.buzzflash.com/articles/alert/503 There are 70 days before Barack Obama becomes president of the United States, yet the craziness against him is in full wing. Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) has said Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship.
What does Broun base this on? The voices in his head? Apparently, this stems from a July speech from Obama where he discussed a civilian reserve corps that could handle postwar reconstruction efforts such as rebuilding infrastructure. As Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor points out, the Bush Administration endorses this idea. Broun also said Obama will ban gun ownership. Though of course, there is nothing to actually base this on. We love the Internet for many reasons, but this isn't one of them. It's one thing for an unknown crackpot to come up with theories not backed up by, well, anything.
