mike: I can drive up my street with the car radio on and get any one of about 60-75 radio stations. I am free to pick the station I wish to listen to. i can "create my own fairness.
On my street, I have the pick of ONE DAILY NEWSPAPER delivered to it - a SCREAMING LIBERAL PAPER. The choice is to "take it" OR "not to take it."
