The subprime crisis was a result of the complete deregulation and no oversight of Wall St finaciers who saw it as an opportutinity to induldge in the the most parasitic lending pracitices possible. The arguement of the complete absence of government into the running of the economy is the most stupid idiotic thing I have ever heard and is a product of the desperation to justify the continuation of the failed capitalist system that is beyond any reform. With no oversight business will fuck the workers so hard that they will be living in cardboard boxes. Business will hire thugs and stand overmen to intimidate workers. When business controls society it is known as plutcratic fascism.
