Wreaths Across America - Florida National Cemetery / Bushnell - 13 DEC
2008

The U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club is the host organization for
Wreaths Across America at Florida National Cemetery again this year.
The Patriot Guard Riders have been honored with an invitation to
attend and participate on Saturday, 13 December 2008. We will stand a
Flag Line as guests arrive and have been asked to assist with laying
the wreaths prior to the ceremony.

We had a good turn out for this honorable mission last year and I
think it's fair to say that everyone went home afterwards feeling
better for having been there.

The ceremony will be held at the Main Assembly area of Florida
National Cemetery which is directly across from Section 402. The PGR
has visited this area on many somber occasions. Most of the Heroes
that have made the ultimate sacrifice in the Global War on Terror and
who have been laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, are at rest
in Section 402.

The leadership of the USMV / MC and the PGR were both saddened last
year that there were not enough wreaths available to lay at each of
the headstones that mark the resting place of each of these Heroes.
That will not be the case this year. We (the membership of the PGR)
were brought into the loop early enough this year that we were able to
make a difference. The USMV / MC expanded their reach into the
motorcycle community this year seeking sponsors for wreaths. We were
part of that. They expanded their effort in seeking corporate
sponsorship. As a result of YOUR effort and THEIR effort, there will
be over EIGHT HUNDRED wreaths laid in Section 402 of Florida National
Cemetery this year!

The USMV M/C will extend the Honor to the PGR of allowing us to lay
the wreaths for all of the Heroes that we have stood for.
