I'm not Christian or gay yet I can get along with people who are gay and serious evangelists- I don't agree with many of their views but I respect how they see things and know life's easier when people are rational and let others live, The reaction of gay activists at learning that Rick Warren will speak at Obama's inauguration is completely over the top and only ensures the differences they have will grow worse instead of better.
I don't love everything Warren stands for but respect a lot of things he does; He's started the largest humanitarian project in world history which has already led to hundreds of health care centers and schools being built in every African nation, eastern Europe, and here in the U.S. Religion isn't pushed in Warren's humanitarian project at all, and he's on the record as saying all people- gays inclluded- are welcome at his schools and hospitals...
