My geography texts, and my Atlas, and my encyclopedia all tell me that between Dec. 1 and April 15 to expect it to be COLD, We should also expect that precipitation will come in the form of SNOW. It is very possible to keep warm, both indoors and outside. But you cannot be a nudist... It is also possible to travel, if you plan for it, and use some common sense. What we are having is a normal continental winter in Eastern Canada. If I was to pack up and move to Florida, I would expect warmer weather for most of the Winter, and then, there would be some hurricanes in the early fall, and my shelter might get blown away, or flooded. There are advantages and disadvantages of living in any climate. Snow is the way that God aids us in conserving water that is required to produce our food. If it melts slowly, rivers and lakes will hold it for the dry summer months.
