You persist in having these inane, insane debates because it perpetuates the myth that you are defending something other than an unworkable, grossly unequal system of socio- economic relations-- something that you dare not consider, because were this to be true (and of course it is) you would immediately evaporate into thin air. The founding fathers would be appalled by the level of criminality of the US plutocracy and the ignorance and prostration of many of its citizens. Lincoln stated that it was the duty of the citizens to revolt against any criminal abrogation of the constitution that encroached upon the enviable rights of the people. I can hear him screaming from the grave from here----WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR, A SIGN FROM GOD? Lincoln and the founding fathers would demand the criminal trial of those you prostrate yourselves before as representative of the ideals enshrined in the declaration of independence. Have you no shame, no spine, no courage? American's have been fed the crap that capitalism, freedom, democracy and the founding fathers are inseparable, that they represent the apex of a cultured equal enlightened civilization. Infact the founding fathers never stipulated an economic system that needed to be adhered to, or that was preferable, or was the best option to organize society so as to realize the high ideals set forth in the declaration of independence.
