and Al Sharpton...   Eric Holder refused to walk the walk of a serious
racial dialogue...   Al Sharpton wants to keep the alive so he can
have power...  What is truth to Power here???

Perhaps it is saying to Al Sharpton that the image that ape = black
guy does not apply and that thinking it does is his (al Sharpton's)
problem that he has to get over if the race dialogue is to advance...
Likewise for all those offended...

Which brings us back to Eric Holder. If Americans are shy about
discussing race, a big reason is the culture of intimidation promoted
by people like Al Sharpton in the name of racial sensitivity. "Frank
discussion" requires a willingness to trust that one's interlocutor is
acting in good faith. If Attorney General Holder is serious about
promoting racial candor, let him use this incident to make the point.
That would show a bit of courage on his part.
