You based "what you said" on watching "Law & Order"? I *really* hate to be the
one to break it to you Travis but "Law & Order" is NOT a documentary. ROFL!
The original Law & Order is now in it's 19th season and the death penalty was
available in the state of New York during some of those years but NOT since
June of 2004. You are WRONG on the facts Travis.

I find two yahoos wondering why this case is not a capital murder case and I
waste my time giving a factual response only to find you want to argue based on
something you saw on reruns of "Law & Order"?

I think I am done here. Contemplating my navel will be more productive. ;-)))

Ciao,
CW

I based what I said on watching Law and Order in which is set in NYC and on
several episoded tthere is mention of the death penalty. I dont think the
writers would make that kind of a mistake. that is all.

"You believe"??? LOL Please show the date and time the death penalty was
reinstated in the state of New York following People v. LaVelle in mid 2004.

FYI - In People v. LaVelle the death penalty statute of New York was
declared unconstitutional through the ruling.

WHEN was the death penalty reinstated in the state of New York Travis???

I believe that NY does have the death penalty now. Was put back in a few
years ago. I think the prosecutor is afraid of a mooseturd rebellion if he
charges 1st degree. The muzzies are calling it an honor killing.

Sounds like 1st degree capital murder to me. However the standard for
that charge in NY is steeper than it is here in CA.
