As for the current situation; the economic collapse could not have transpired without the repeal of The Glass Steagall Act which "former" president Clinton signed; are not similar laws which FDR enacted to "protect" the common welfare of the people being reinstated as we speak?
With that said, I "we" consider the charges against former President Bush criminal in nature. As an American am appalled at the fact that what President Bush has done "In My Name" (that of which my American heritage paid in blood and guts to defend) are not only atrocities against the inalienable rights of other people but do much the same to my and my posterity as well. Congressman Tanner, you swore to uphold the oath to the Constitution of The United States (The Supreme Law of The Land) and president Obama Is "NOT" that law. As a citizen of these United States I have been betrayed by such treachery and you as my representative own me a better explanation for the former administrations actions. Your actions and or inactions have set a precedence for future executive privileges which have dire consequences to me, my family, my community and to the American heritage which fought to defend me and my posterity. The repeal of the Glass Steagall Act allowed 8 years of unregulated fiscal travesty to transpire to bring us to this point of economic collapse. The irrational behavior of the Bush administration have brought in a era precedents akin to authoritarian rule. If I should ever have to stand before the judiciaries in my lifetime for criminal charges then I should like to hire you as my lawyer and or council to defend me. I am saving your reply for future references which I also shall submit as evidence and "precedent" to the Judge for examination that all men are created equal and that I should not have to appear before him because as do you, President Obama and the former president Bush claim some sort of immunity to the laws of which I must abide. I should now claim the same rights. Now that "we" have spoken I would also like to announce that under the "new rules" of which "We" seem to have become immune that I would like to submit a bill before the house that any and all who are incarcerated in our prisons should fall under the same laws and be freed since the law no longer applies and then we should just give up and give in to anarchy and let the strongest survive. As it stands the insanity of our government has most certainly transitioned into such a realm of insane and or unruly special interests for they no longer uphold the laws of the Constitution and make willy nilly laws as they go; "we" do declare equality as our sovereign interest as human beings stand to be just as human as yours. The only clear difference is that "we" just lack education.
