For the relevant nations to stay relevant in the new era of globalization they have to exploit the cheap labor available in the 'non relevant' countries by sending them our unskilled jobs that require manual labor while forcing them into debt they'll never get out from under by making them take loans from the IMF & the World Bank in order to even get our shitty jobs, be protected by American military strength- oops- I mean protected by NATO, continue to get food and aid from the US and other 'wealthy nations' so they can even survive... you know.
