This company AIG would have been bankrupt had we not stepped in, and these greedy idiots would have been out of a job. The moment they solicited bail-out money is the moment they should have realized that they are lucky they're not being prosecuted for incompetence and that they're lucky to still have a multi-million dollar paying job.
No one, especially Congress and the Administration, can justify taking any of tax payer Bail-out dollars originally meant for government operation and pay a private corporate executive that money (as much as 3 Million Dollars to one individual) as a bonus. It is outside of the taxation law's legal original intent and justification to be able to collect income taxes in the first place. It treats the common tax payer as a serf handing over thier income to the rich elite (like the Lords of the Dark Ages). Congress better get this resolved or there will be rioting in the Streets and a justified Tax Revolt!
