Doc, Most people forget that all REAL monetary gain is garnered by BASE industry. Farming, mining, manufacturing, inventing.
All other jobs exist because of these "blue collar" efforts. Banks do not produce anything, they use money already produced, same with the staock market, sales companies, insurance companies, etc. The problem is all those service industries are there to make life easier and more convenient and other service industries workers love it.. They produce NOTHING they put no food on my table, no car in my drive, no fuel in my furnace yet they have been given the power to bring nations to their knees in the name of expedience. They simply siphon money from the base and concentrate it into the hands of people that use it for their own benefit which usually does NOT translate into expanding base industry except for sending it overseas so their snot nosed asthmatic kids that will also produce nothing can repeat the cycle. Yes, usury is a sin.
