I would point out, that all of us have lived in worse times....See Jimma Carter, when inflation was in double digits, when interest rates, (including the prime rate) was in double digits, and unemployment was in double digits. None of that has happened to date, even with wacko left, socialist-elitist extremists at the helm...... Nope, I don't think we are there yet. One nasty little dirty bomb, or another plane into a skyscraper, and watch everyone forget the economic debacle going on right now. Just as important, if the government wanted to create a dynamo economy, all they would have to do, is get rid of the capital gains taxes, and adopt the Fair Tax Amendment/Legislation.....You would see the American economy thrive, and the dollar whip the crap out of the Euro in a matter of hours.
