Let us all pray, that you are wrong Dick!!! (LOL!) Actually, I don't see it quite as gloomy as you do. I think that there is a potential for a groundswell of opposition, and we are going to start seeing it rather quickly, at least in time for the 2010 elections.
I do agree that it is a race by the likes of Nanc, Harry, Barney, Chris, Chucky and the Messiah to get as much of this socialistic legislation passed, (because even they realize that their days are limited) but with a stroke of a pen, (especially if Americans begin to feel the loss of sovereignty as well as bankruptcy) those that are not far left extremist ideologues, (like many that post here and in the new group and on Euwetopia) will turn against these socialistic tendencies.
