We had marines there to monitor the country nd keep a "foot-print there until 1993 when 20 marines were killed by Somali Terrorists and Bill Clinton withdrew the marines in an "after dark" escape. ======== What the hell are you talking about? The Blackhawk Down event was Army Rangers, not marines. And they were operating under the UN, not the US. Read a book occassionally. Try Anthony Zinni's autobiography since he commanded the marines there and returned when the UN was running the show.
