My "hatred", Keith you immediately retreat to the childish histrionics that so characterizes the current American right, I do not want to see the second amendment banned, nor did I even begin to imply that, even if it was politically possible...much as you like to cherry pick American history for an agenda that would reduce some aspects of the Bill of Rights, and you can claim rightfully some on the left could erode others...but you cannot get past your own inability to stop demonizing, so the conversation goes no further. Blind righteousness has reduced the American right, and should continue to do so until there is realization that there is no gain from pretending history and politics are black and white.
