I repeat, and I know this information first hand, at least from Florida which is the Fifth Largest State by population.
No entity, to include the Republican National Committee, or any other entity, especialy FOX News, had anything to do with the organization or the finances of the TEA Parties in Florida, and I include all of them. Note that Miami did not have a TEA Party. There were TEA Parties held in Tampa, Orlando, Ocala, Jacksonville, Lake City, Tallahassee, and some smaller gatherings around the State. The Heritage Foundation did upon our request, list the locations of the gatherings. The stages were donated, (the backs of flatbed trucks. The sound systems were donated, and in Lake City there was no stage, and an individual's karoke machine was used as the sound system. Flags were donated to give out to patrons, water was donated by a local bottler in Orlando, Ocala and Tampa. The cleanup crews were from those who helped organize. The main man responsible for the TEA Parties in Tampa, Orlando and Ocala was a gentleman by the name of Tom Gaitens, who is a literal Patriot, and gave his time, energy and wherewithall to organize the events. This was truly a grass roots event, period. Anyone suggesting otherwise is full of horse hockey, and does not know of what (s)he speaks.....
