i STILL say that the ONLY functions of the federation government are for DEFENSE of the several united States of America, and the regulation of trade among them and with the rest of the World. MOST of what the federation government is doing is in the name of the 'general welfare' clause, but they are misusing the word GENERAL. They also abuse the interstate trade clause in the name of 'product manufacture'.
